FH hall DU



HESTORY
Fazlul Huq Muslim Hall was established in 1940 according to the name of A.K. Fazlul Huq, former prime minister of non-divided Bangla. It is one of the oldest residential Hall of Dhaka University. This Hall was opened with a total of 363 students on Ist July, 1940. Fazlul Huq Muslim Hall is divided into three parts, such as Main Bhavan, South Bhavan and Extension of South Bhavan. There are 262 rooms and 636 seats in this Hall. Total number of students are now 1570 (residents & non residents).

Number of Students: 
The total number of students during the session 2004-05 was 1570, of them 766 were resident students and the rest were attached. While, 636 of the resident students had single seats, 130 students shared seats as doublers.

Hall Library:

Hall library is conducted under the guidance of house tutor Dr. Md. Anowarul Azim Akhanda and one library assistant. The library remains open from 9:30-a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in every working day. Books are purchased from University fund every year for the library. Part of library also is being used as a paper room.
Reading Room:
First floor of Canteen is being used as a reading room. It’s area is about 2000 square feet. It can accommodate 50 students to read there at a time.

BM college(Govt.Brojomohun)


Govt. Brojomohun College, established on 14 June 1889 is spreading the light of knowledge till now with reliability, confidence and sincerity. The College is situated in the Divisional City of Barisal some 2 kilometers away from the famous river Kirtonkhola. This is the most ancient and aristocratic College of Greater Barisal and one of the most prestigious colleges of Bangladesh. The college has produced a good number of famous personalities in various fields who keep contributing in their respective field. Govt. BM College is the holy symbol of truth, love and purity. The mass people of Barisal feel pride for this famous college

Notre Dame College (Dhaka)

Notre Dame College (Bengaliনটর ডেম কলেজ) or NDC is a higher secondary school as well as a degree college affiliated to the National University. It is situated in DhakaBangladesh and is administrated by the Congregation of Holy Cross, Society of Priests. (In the Indian subcontinent, as in the UK, higher secondary schools, comprising the 11th and 12th year of education, are often referred to as 'colleges'). The college also offers three-year degree program, Bachelor of Arts (B.A. Pass Course) and Bachelor of Social Sciences (B.S.S. Pass Course). In 2009 the institution celebrated it





Notre Dame College was established in Arambagh, Dhaka in November, 1949. It was established by the Roman Catholic Priests from the Congregation of Holy Cross because of the crisis in the education sector of the new born East Pakistan. It was known as the St. Gregory College, an extension of the St. Gregory's School, which was also established by the mission. It was relocated to its current location in Motijheel in 1954 and renamed to Notre Dame College. The new name was a tribute to the University of Notre Dame, the alma mater of many of the faculty members. In French Notre Dame means Our Lady, that stands for Mother Mary.
Since 1980s (after the liberation war), Notre Dame College gained reputation of the best institution for higher secondary education in the country. The highest number of perfect GPA holders in national examination (H.S.C.) and the exceptional success of its students in university admission tests bear testimony to thiss 60th anniversary
